This is a rough approximation of your grade breakdown. As I stated earlier, I want to do what is best for the class overall. I want to make the learning experience worthwhile, interactive, and also one that has academic rigor.

Course Policies | |||||||||
Instructor Policies |
Cell phone usage is allowed in the classroom, but only for academic reasons. That means when i asking questions that require the submission of answers. Any other usage will result in disciplinary measures, including dismissal from the course. No food or drink allowed in the classroom. Water is allowed. In terms of turning work in late, you get 2 extension passes. What that means is that you can miss 2 graded assignments and turn them in after the deadline. You do not have to ask for permission. Once you use both of them, you are out of options. If you want to discuss your grades, you must come to my office, in person. Language that is discriminatory, derogatory, sexist, and racist has no place in the classroom, or even anywhere else. We all have our opinions. But they need to be expressed in a respectful manner. If your behavior is described as above, then various disciplinary measures will be implemented. |
||||||||
Attendance Policy | Research has shown a cause and effect relationship between attendance and college success. Missing class is not acceptable and can significantly impact your grade. | ||||||||
